Portland Varsity volleyball defeated Ovid-Elsie 3-0 in the Block Out Cancer match on October 13^th at Portland High School.  It was a real team effort with Lilli Spenski and Avery Moore with 4 Aces each. Contributing 6 kills apiece were McKenna Boykin, Jaylee Pitchford, Lauren Rowe and Piper Groesser. Abbey Pohl added 2 solo blocks and Allie Sutberry offered up 14 assists.

The two teams and their fans worked together seemlessly to help Block Out Cancer and raised $1245 for the American Cancer Society.

JV Volleyball took down Ovid-Elsie 25-16, 25-16 and the freshmen also won 25-10 and 25-18.
